Noah has a huge imagination and he loves transformers!! He is an extremely sweet kid and most people that meet him are amazed by him. He loves to swim, play in the dirt,, play with bugs, and play in the sandbox.
At the age of 3 years, Noah was behind in motor skills compared to most children his age. His legs hurt him and at times, he would limp for no reason. At that point, his parents took him for testing and were given his diagnosis, Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. He was originally taken to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital but didn’t like their approach. They heard about Cincinnati Children’s and how specialized and professional the team is so they started going to this hospital for Noah’s care.
Noah’s family is from Tennessee but travels to Cincinnati about twice per year as they feel that the information and knowledge gained here will help them provide a better quality of life for Noah. They are hoping to keep him out of a wheelchair for as long as possible and believe what they learn and gain here will help them do so.
