One and a half year old Bayleigh loves to learn new things everyday, especially new signs that help her to communicate.
Bayleigh has been profoundly deaf since birth. Her parents are both profoundly deaf and have both gotten cochlear implants. They use sign language in the home but would like for Bayleigh to learn to listen and talk with her implants so she will be attending Ohio Valley Voices (OVV). OVV provides intensive speech and language therapy every day and teaches the children so that they will eventually mainstream into their neighborhood schools with their hearing peers.
