"AIDS Walk Las Vegas was established in 1990 and is one of the most anticipated charity events in Las Vegas with the goal to fight HIV/AIDS, eradicate the stigma it carries and support those living with it. Over the years, Aids for AIDS Foundation of Nevada (AFAN) has created various programs that offer consistent and comprehensive assistance including direct client service programs, food programs, prevention and education programs and community outreach. 2024 marks AFAN’s 40^th anniversary of providing service to the Las Vegas Community."
