Hello friends and family. As most of you know I spent 8yrs active duty in the US Army. My MOS was 31C, communications specialist, and our motto was, "You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us." I have always been proud of my membership in this unique brotherhood and I am equally proud of any individual who has sacrificed to be part of our military forces. Whether you are an Army soldier, a Marine, a sailor in the Navy, an airman in the Air Force, or a coastie in the US Coast Guard, we are all brothers in arms. I appreciate every single one of you. True to the saying for us members of the armed forces, "All gave some, some gave all", I support each and everyone one of you understanding that our sacrifice and experiences vary, but we are all worthy of praise and respect for the role we have played. I make every effort in supporting our troops every opportunity I get. Whether in my capacity as a psychotherapist, community based projects, and truly any other occasion that presents itself; it's not something I have advertised openly in social media. This time around, I am am doing it in a more public forum in support of The Heroes Project. This Veteran's Day Weekend I will be participating in the Climb for Heroes at Mt. Baldy with the group #SoCalHikingSisters who so graciously invited me to join them on this hike.
