Since 2013, The Heroes Project has hosted Climb for Heroes on our local training grounds, Mt. Baldy, California. Climb for Heroes is a non-competitive, family-friendly day hike accessible to all fitness levels and age groups. Children and friendly dogs are also welcome to participate with their well-behaved adults. The hike can be done with friends and family, with co-workers as a team-building event, or individuals can come alone and meet other do-gooders at a life-changing, sweat-inducing, veteran-supporting, patriotic event.
I will be participating this Saturday November 9th, 2024 with the EQX HEROES Employee Resource Group at Equinox to raise money and awareness for the Heroes Project.
The Heroes project mission makes the impossible a reality by empowering our injured community through physical and emotional training, allowing them to explore the farthest reaches of themselves and the world they live in. These expeditions challenge the severely wounded to redefine their personal limits post-injury. The Heroes Project inspires our injured men and women to find purpose both physically and mentally and ignites others to do the same.
