You know I have a thing for trekking mountains and of course the military. Now that I am back in California I can climb Mount Baldy for my second time in support of our Heroes!

The Heroes Project takes military heroes on therapeutic, challenging and transformative experiences. They pair new participants with a mountain specifically chosen to challenge them physically and mentally, to include the highest in the world! They are an inspiration!  

The Climb for Heroes event is held annually in Mt. Baldy, California. It's a special event in which I can meet, support, and shake the hands of injured veterans, thank them for their service, and soak up a bit of their intense badassery.
