Welcome to the US Chemicals-WOB Flotilla page! Our team, the WOBBERS, is determined to surpass our fundraising goal and support the excellent work that Soundwaters does. Soundwaters protects the Long Island Sound through education and action, working with communities, schools, businesses and political leaders to spread knowledge about the Sound. They do this through summer camps, STEM education, informational sails aboard the Schooner, and workforce development. Soundwater relies on funding from loyal and generous donors to fulfill their pledge that no student should be turned away from a Soundwaters education for the inability to pay. Today, over 30% of Soundwaters students receive scholarship funding for school and camp programs. Around 50% of the students taught are from low-income communities. 

The Long Island Sound is an essential part of our community, and we look forward to supporting the important work Soundwaters conducts.
