My favorite Bible verse, John 3:16, reminds me of the depth of God’s love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” 

Although I am retired, my commitment to serving my community keeps me busy. I am a member of the Rotary Club of Wichita, where I serve on the Literacy Committee. At my parish, Church of the Holy Spirit, I play the piano and serve as a eucharistic minister, money counter and coordinator for the Adoration Chapel. I also co-lead Walking with Purpose. I volunteer with The Lord’s Diner food truck and play the piano at the First Friday Mass at Dove Estates. 

I am always up for an adventure and celebrated my 60th birthday by jumping out of an airplane for a tandem skydive. 

My husband, Randy, and I are the proud parents of two adult sons, two daughters-in-law and five grandsons, ages 6 to 17. Our family also includes a pony and two barn cats.
