I grew up watching my mom (Shawna Mobley) show up with heart and passion for people affected by domestic violence. Her example stayed with me. Saying YES to Queen Bee feels like a beautiful way to honor her legacy, serve God, and bring more light into our community.
Isaiah 6:8 is the Scripture I come back to again and again: “Here am I. Send me!” I don’t always know exactly where God is leading, but I want to be willing to go. This is one of those opportunities—to put faith into action and help families find safety, hope, and a new beginning.
My husband, Dr. Joey, and I are both chiropractors. We love serving people, and we believe in being good stewards of the time, talents, and resources God has given us. Through Queen Bee, we get to support the work of Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter and St. Anthony Family Shelter right here in Wichita.
We attend St. Joe Ost & St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Andale & Colwich areas. We have five amazing kids: our oldest son, who recently married, and two sets of twins, ages 15 and 10. Life is full, and we’re grateful. We want to teach our kids what my mom taught me: when you have an opportunity to love and serve, SHOW UP!
I’m inviting you to BEE THE LIGHT with us. My goal is 100 partners giving $100 to raise $10,000. Every gift, every prayer, and every share matters.
