1 Day 70.3 Miles

The Wounded Warrior Project™ serves military service members who incurred service-connected wounds, injuries, or illnesses on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. Their mission is “To honor and empower wounded warriors” with the vision “To fostor the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

When I decided to race in the 2013 Ironman 70.3 Syracuse, I knew I wanted to do more than just train for the race. Taking a year to train for an Ironman event can be seen as a challenge but nothing compares to what the men and women of our armed forces sacrifice for us every day. I have many friends who serve in branches of the military and I have always had a respect for what they do. It seemed only fitting and my chance to give back a little by helping to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Program.

Please help me reach my goal of raising $2,000 before race day.

Thank You
