Send Apraxia Families to CCK

Every summer, the Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) hosts summer camp weekends for families who have children with like abilities. One weekend might be for kids with Down Syndrome and another for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Many of our BB4K kids have a diagnosis of Apraxia of Speech and many have been to one of these camps in the past for kids with Apraxia.

This year, Building Blocks for Kids will sponsor 30-35 kids and their families so that they may attend this camp weekend which is totally free for the attendees. The weekend includes themed activities, crafts, games, live animals, horseback riding, fishing, swimming, bowling, video games, movies, cooking, a wood shop and so much more! It is a great time for families to break away from the routines of therapy and for children and families with like abilities to spend time together without having to worry about being different.

The cost for Building Blocks for Kids to send a family to the Camp for Courageous Kids is $250 or about $25 per person.
