Ten year old Henry is in the 4th grade.  He loves to ride bikes as is evidenced by his daily demands that his dad take him for a ride on his pull along bike trailer every day, regardless of the weather.  Everyone in town knows Henry because of those daily rides.  Henry loves books, music, swimming and going to the zoo.  He loves to be outside and helps take his dog Tucker, who is his very best friend, for walks each day.

Henry was diagnosed with Autism when he was two and a half years old.  His parents noticed he wasn’t talking, socializing or hitting milestones when he was around one year old.

Henry lives for bike rides but he’s outgrowing all other bike seat options.  He went to two camps a CCHMC to try to learn to ride but hasn’t been able.  If he is no longer able to go for rides, his behavior and sensory seeking issues will likely become an issue.  This item is important not only to Henry, but to his whole family.  It is one activity that allows them so spend quality time together and forget about autism for a bit.
