Two year old Maylee likes to play outside, go for walks, go down slides, play with her toys (especially baby dolls), color, write on her chalk board, watch cartoons and play with her friends.
Maylee has a speech delay and was recently diagnosed with mixed receptive-expressive language disorder. She is unable to express her everyday needs and wants like asking for a drink or saying that she’s tired. She also has sensory processing difficulty and this causes her to fall a lot, not always respond to voices, chew on things, be hyperactive, or want more sensory input.
Maylee needs significant speech and occupational therapy to improve her language skills and to help with her sensory processing challenges.
In addition, she will be traveling from home for a long day of Autism Screening and needs help with a hotel room and gas for that trip.
