TeamSoCalHiker has been participating in the Climb for Heroes since 2015, and we're looking forward to gathering to climb one of Southern California's most iconic peaks in support of The Heroes Project. 

This year, we are going to be setting up smaller groups within the larger team, with group leaders to help accommodate different speeds, hiking styles and objectives. And yes, there will be swag for team members. 😉

I look forward to seeing you on Mount Baldy! 

10/26 UPDATE - Congratulations to Team SoCalHiker member Philip Yoho for surpassing $500 raised! Remember that the fundraising minimum set my The Heroes Project is $125, but by all means, raise more! There are special prizes for the top overall fundraisers. 

11/08 UPDATE - Thanks to all of our team members who have met their fundraising goal! The Climb for Heroes is THIS SATURDAY. We will be bringing the Six-Pack of Peaks adventure-mobile to the start line, and gathering the team there. We have stickers. And we have 30 t-shirts for the team as of today. If we get additional team members after today, we can send them one after the event, but may not be able to have one for you at the day of. For some of our team members, I don't have your email, so if you could, take a few a minutes and please complete this short survey. 

I'll be sending out an email update on Friday to everyone who I have an email address for, and I'll see you at the check-in on Saturday morning! 

11/11 UPDATE - WOW! We've passed $6400 raised. Congrats to team member Bo King for raising $650 (so far) and Philip Yoho for hitting $1000! Well done! For those of you on Facebook, I've created an event page where I'm sharing details and where you can ask questions, post photos, etc. It's tied to the SoCal Hiker FB group, so if you're not a member, you may have to join that first. Now to go pack the adventure-mobile... 😉
