The Heroes Project is an organization that raises money for our men and women who have been severally injured in the service to our country.  The Project provides them with the physical and emotional training needed to explore the amazing world we live in and do so from the best perspectives. The Climb for Heroes event is one way to donate and bring awareness to this awesome organization.  I've never participated in the Climb for Heroes event here in Southern California but, I've have always said to myself, "I'll do it next year."

Well, it's finally next year and I've joined Team SoCalHiker to enjoy a day on the mountain with my fellow peak baggers, meet some of these fine men and woman and to say thank you.  Please feel free to donate to my page in support of The Heroes Project or directly to the organization.
