Rockin’ news! This year, Sententia Vera Cultural Hub is thrilled to once again support HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians! We’ve set a new goal to raise $500, and to make it happen, we’ve created Team Hub in Drip. You can contribute by donating or joining our team to fundraise with your family and friends!

My connection to HAAM began when a local musician, someone I hadn’t met before, wandered into The Hub for a cup of coffee and some quiet time to journal. He quickly became a cherished part of our community and a dear friend. It’s a joy to know that The Hub offered him a welcoming and creative space to unwind from the rigors of life on the road.

HAAM Day is more than a fundraiser. Now in its 19th year, HAAM Day is one of Austin’s most iconic celebrations of community and live music, raising awareness & critical funds for HAAM!
Crowned ‘Most Creative Event’ at the 2022/2023 Austin Music Award, HAAM has served more than 3,100 musicians throughout Central Texas! 

HAAM has provided more than $144 million in hearing, vision, dental, mental health and basic needs services since its inception. For every $100 in sponsorships, HAAM is able to leverage into $700 in direct healthcare services. 

As a special treat HAAM Day 2024, powered by PNC and SXSW, offers more than 200 FREE live music performances across greater-Austin, music lovers can expect to hear tunes bouncing off the walls of grocery stores, restaurants, shops and of course - live music venues. 

I invite you to join us at The Hub for a daylong Happy Hour, where 10% of all beverage and snack sales will be donated to HAAM. Whether you donate to Team Hub in Drip or simply hang out with us, enjoying drinks and snacks, your support makes a difference for our local musicians. We’ll have the dedicated HAAM Day 2024 playlist on repeat all day, and who knows? We might even have a surprise guest join us for a special HAAM jam session!
