Thank you so much for taking time to visit my fundraising page for Camp Harmony's Leadership 2025 Fundraising Campaign! I wanted to share some of my favorite moments from camp, that really attest to how this organization changes the lives of kids who otherwise wouldn't get the chance to spend this time at camp with their friends and do things they love.
United in Harmony’s mission is to provide children experiencing poverty with hope and opportunities. United in Harmony’s overnight-camp program (Camp Harmony) is designed to help children develop positive self-esteem and to thereby inspire and empower campers in their future endeavors. As leadership leaders, we continue strengthening these bonds with our campers throughout the year.
Some of my favorite moments from camp:
1. Last days
- The last night of summer camp, all of the campers and counselors get to go to a carnival full of games and prizes, inflatables, snow cones, and so much more, and everyone has a really great time. At the very end of the night, everybody gathers and sits on the grass with their cabins, and we all sing the Camp Harmony song. This genuinely makes my campers cry every single time. Just the thought of leaving camp after all of the fun and experiences they've had over the past few days makes all the campers super emotional, both that night and the next day. In my profile picture and in the photos below, you can see some really sweet moments from right before the campers got on my bus to leave, when my toughest and usually least vulnerable camper was crying and hugging everyone goodbye. As we walk our to the busses and they are all crying and making us promise to keep in touch, the thing that comforts them and makes the day a bit more sweet is telling them we will see them next time. Getting to look forward to next camp and knowing it's always gonna be there for them is so important to the kids who come to camp, which is why we need donations to keep it running and be able to always promise them we will see them again.

2. Staying in touch
Any donation large or small directly contributes to providing these experiences to the children who need them most. Thank you for your support!
