Giving future Govies the gift of a strong STEM foundation!

Congratulations on exceeding the LYBUNT goal of 70% and the dollar goal of $207,000!
We only need 49 more alumni to participate to meet the third goal of 25% by December 31!

Since 2010, PGSS alumni have given more than $1,692,586 in support of the five week, residential summer Program. Last year, 23.59% of alumni participated, raising more than $226,000 in support of the program.

While it is our ultimate goal to receive annual financial program support through the Commonwealth's budget, PGSS has become somewhat self-sustaining by sending 56-72 students for each of the last 11 years. If we are to keep our level of 72 students who will attend this summer, it will be with the help of alumni to help fund at least half of the organization's annual costs.

3 Goals for 2023's AAC

Our first goal is to raise at least $207,000 from this year's Alumni Challenge in support of sending 72 students to the 2024 Program.

Our second goal is to again reach overall participation of 25%. Reaching this goal will allow us to demonstrate alumni devotion to the Program to our corporate sponsors and foundation grantors, members of the Commonwealth's legislature, the PA Department of Education, the PA Department of Labor & Industry, and Governor Josh Shapiro.

The third goal, is to have at least 70% of those alumni who gave in 2022 to give again this year. These repeated gifts continue to be the driving force of our annual giving program!
