Pull for Our Veterans Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays Shoot for 2016

“Pull For Our Veterans”TM is an East Tennessee 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to raising money for veterans and their families.  This is our fifth year and we have been able to raise over $100,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.  We are a group of volunteers and 100% of what we collect from sponsors goes to the veterans and their families.  Our website is http://pfov.org.

For 2016, Pull For Our Veterans is expanding into two shooting events.  We will continue with the 5th Annual skeet and trap shoot to accommodate 120 shooters, September 16-18 at the Oak Ridge Sportsmen’s Association (ORSA).  Additionally, as we did in 2015, there will be a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and speaker Saturday evening, September 17.  Our inaugural sporting clays shoot will be at Lucky 7 Ranch in Sweetwater, TN, May 27-28.  This shoot can accommodate 320 shooters over the two days.

A little about the event:

The entry fee is $125 per person or $600 for a five person team for sporting clays and $100 for skeet and trap per shooter and 100% of the net fees (target cost) from registration goes to the two charities. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as we have “sold-out” the last four years.  Shooters will shoot 100 clay targets and receive a hat (both events) and event t-shirt and door prizes (skeet and trap). Shooters will also enjoy meals at the respective events.  In the September skeet and trap event we will have a guest speaker after the hors d’oeuvres and conclusion of the silent auction at Oak Ridge Sportsmen’s Association clubhouse in Oak Ridge. The silent auction will also be available for viewing and bidding all-day Saturday.

Law-Enforcement and Wounded Veteran Night Shoot on September 16, 2016

As we did in 2015, we again plan to solicit local law enforcement agencies for them to have officers joining the wounded warriors; these 20 officers can be supported by sponsors for $100 each.  This will be shooting Friday evening at ORSA and will include a dinner.
