AT&T GCSO EGC Golf Tournament

AT&T GCSO Employee Giving Campaign (EGC) Golf Tournament Fund Raiser for Fisher House Foundation

On 8/29/16, Global Compute & Storage Operations (GCSO)'s Mark Francis (VP) hosted a golf tournament to raise funds to benefit the Fisher House Foundation. Half of the money raised also goes to the Fisher House located at Ft. Gordon, GA.

Our golf tournament took place at the beautiful and luxurious Polo Golf & Country Club, located at 6300 Polo Club Drive, Cumming, GA 30040; this is the link to their site:

Our golf tournament was comprised of 30 foursomes and we had vendor sponsorships to help raise funds, in addition to the two skill-based contests (Chipping & Putting).

There is an internal AT&T site set up for the AT&T players to donate their money. This specific Fisher House fundraiser site is set up for our vendor sponsors to add their donations. This includes the costs of their sponsorships ($500 for each foursome) and $20 for each of the 2 aforementioned contests. Some vendors even paid for their foursome's contests too.

The event was a success and we look forward to hosting our 2nd tournament next year.

To our valued vendor sponsors, we simply could not have raised this money without your support. I want to personally thank you. I too am ex-Military and your support for this charity event is greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I should salute you, hug you or both :) We value our working relationship with all of you and thank you again for helping to make our 1st golf tournament a successful one!!!! Roger that, my friends!!!!
