The Marin County Harley Davidson Club will be hosting a ride to support the Rain Forest Trust! Deforestation hurts orangutans, as well as us. The 920,000-acre forest Rainforest Trust is working to protect keeps an incredible amount of carbon from entering the atmosphere: nearly 200 metric tons per acre, or 184 million for the entire project. An average car emits 4 metric tons of carbon per year, a Harley is much less, so this forest holds the carbon equivalent of 46 million cars!
See you there!
