Honey Badgers

A group of Air Force medics & nurses deployed to Ramstein Air Base, Germany in support of the 86th CASF is competing in a Tough Mudder event at the Boughton House and Estate, Kettering Northamptonshire, U.K.
in order to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project on May 12, 2012.

The Tough Mudder is not just any run-of-the-mill marathon. It is a 12 mile extreme obstacle course designed by British Special Forces. This particular race has 28 mud filled obstacles to include running through fire, log dragging, scaling 12 foot walls, greased monkey bars suspended above an icy lake, swimming thru freezing mud filled pipes, and electroshock therapy- just to name a few. This race will test our strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.
 Check out
for a full description and list of obstacles.

Why Donate? (from the Honey Badger Team)

As part of the CASF team each of us works closely with our REAL American Heros returning from 'down range'. We see firsthand how the Wounded Warrior Project aims to help our soldiers. The need does not end with immediate medical care; It is your sense of welbeing that determines quality of life. By supporting us and our cause you will be helping WWP provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the need of injured service members. It is a program we believe in, support, and are getting beat up for on May 12th.
