Welcome to the Shoes by the Shore: E.J. Finocchio, DVM Memorial Ride fundraising site! We are so excited that you will be joining us for this beautiful ride along the banks of Greenwich Bay through Goddard Park! As a fundraiser, we are asking individual riders to raise $100 each and we welcome teams of all sizes! We are striving to reach our goal of $10,000 with your help! All money raised will support our Large Animal Relief Fund which offers owners of farm animals and equines temporary, emergency assistance during difficult times such as an unexpected health issue, financial difficulty or job loss.
Please note that this is a bring your own horse event. However, should you not have your own horse please reach out to C&L Stables to see if they have any available to ride that day.
RI origin horses don’t need the health certificate or Coggins test, but all horses at public events are required to be rabies vaccinated. Out of state animals need a health certificate, negative Coggins test within 12 months, and be rabies vaccinated.
