Everyone Home DC is hosting its September Challenge, its largest fundraiser of the year. I recently joined the Board, and I am a passionate supporter. Let me tell you why...

I am deeply concerned about homelessness and the shortage of affordable housing, which are growing crises that impact families and individuals in heartbreaking ways. Without a safe and stable place to live, it’s incredibly difficult to build a secure future — from keeping a job to caring for loved ones or getting an education. That’s why supporting organizations on the front lines of this issue, like Everyone Home DC is so important to me. With our help, they can provide housing, resources, and hope to those who are most in need.

Everyone Home DC believes we can all thrive when everyone has access to a safe, affordable, and comfortable home. Everyone Home DC's life-changing housing solutions and supportive services for individuals and families at risk of experiencing homelessness are critical in normal times. Due to recent, significant budget cuts to everything from housing to healthcare, Everyone Home DC has become a lifeline for people in our city.
