The "Wigging Out" event is more than just a costume party; it is a community-driven effort to bring hope to families facing a breast cancer diagnosis. The funds raised will go directly toward sponsoring these unique retreats, which offer a much-needed respite from doctor appointments, treatments, and the emotional toll of the disease.
"Breast cancer affects the whole family, not just the patient," says Tara, "I chose to participate in Wigging Out because I want to give another breast cancer warrior, survivor, or thriver the same unforgettable experience I had with my family. The Little Pink House of Hope retreats are thoughtfully designed to bring families together, offering seven days and six nights of laughter, joy, and freedom—completely free from treatments, hospital visits, and the everyday stresses of cancer. It’s a chance to simply be a family again, to create memories that last long after the retreat ends." Tara is calling on the community to support the cause by donating.
