My brother was larger than life. He had this infectious laugh that made everyone around him smile. He was the kind of person everyone wanted to be around. Unfortunately, we lost him to AIDS in 1995. It was a devastating loss, but we've always found support and community through AFAN. We've been doing the AIDS Walk for over 30 years now, and it's a way to honor his memory and keep his spirit alive. 

I miss him every day, but I'm grateful for the time we had together. He taught me so much about living life to the fullest and being kind to others.
