Welcome to my fundraiser page! Let me tell you a little bit about Batten disease. Imagine if your child was losing vision, developed ALS and Alzheimer's disease.....this is what children and their families experience. There are no cures for the 13 different types of Batten and only one approved treatment. 

BDSRA exists to support families, fund research for desparately needed treatments and cures, and to advocate at every level of government for patient rights and funding for rare disease like Batten.
