Amorabella (Ella) was diagnosed with Batten Disease CLN2 on her 4th birthday in September 2022. It took us 9 months to conclude this.  Batten Disease presents itself differently in children however the most common symtoms are seizure, loss of speech/ motor skills, and vision.  Ella has been receiving the only available treatment every 2 weeks to slow the progression of this terrible disease. Sadly, this disease continues to progress and it is not enough.  We need a cure and the resources to find one.
