For the last 3 years the Mt. SAC VRC has sponsored student veterans in support the Heroes Project to hike Mt. Baldy. This year the college has sponsored a total of 21 military connected student to participate in the hike up to Mt. Baldy's 10,064 ft Summit. This year they will truly be climbing and fundraising for a place our veterans can call home for many years to come. The Heroes Project received the official final approval to build the long-awaited and much-needed Veteran Retreat Center at Icehouse Canyon on Mt. Baldy.
